Hijacking the Islam Terror Narrative

Have you heard the names Ibrahim Athar, Shahid Akhtar Sayed, Sunny Ahmed Qazi, Mistri Zahoor Ibrahim, and Shakir? Probably not. But you must have heard the names Bhola and Shankar, if not in everyday life, then certainly through the work of the director Anubhav Sinha, who made these names of Hindu Gods famous through his OTT release, “IC-814.”

You might ask, why does it matter if a mediocre Bollywood director, known for his left-leaning views, uses these names in his poorly researched, anti-Hindu series “IC-814”?

It does matter! How do you know that Akbar, a Mughal ruler, was considered great? You read about it in your history books, saw it in movies, etc. How do you know about Gandhi’s greatness? Of course, through your history books, essays, films, and other narratives promoted by the ruling government.

History, literature, paintings and films outlive any mortal. And the generation who would not have seen Gandhi or Akbar will go by what he gets to read in the history books or see in the movies as that becomes his reference point. Long after, when you and I are gone, and the future generations see the OTT series named IC-814, they will indeed believe Hindus to be the hijackers. Remember Qasab, the terrorist who killed innocents in Mumbai, was wearing a Kalava on his wrist and even using Hindi code names?

Why? Yes, someone wanted to construct a Hindu terror agenda and implicate RSS in the same.

We all know how books were written around the same, implicating RSS for the Mumbai blast.

We know that Jaish men backed by the ISI did IC-814. Why would a director holding an Indian passport try to dilute the facts? What other intent could be attributed to him when he shows the ‘terrorists’ playing ‘Anakshari’ with the passengers? Isn’t he trying to take away the guilt, lessen the blame and soften the Islam Terror Image?

But then, I am sure a left-wing sympathiser must have funded him. The same cabal has been trying to set the narrative of democracy being in danger, democratic institutions being controlled by a dictator named Modi and minorities having no rights. It’s the same group that wants to divide India on caste and propagate a false narrative around jobs, unemployment and India being sold to business houses.

Be aware of these devious traitors who use freedom of expression as a guise to peddle lies, hatred and misinformation.
